STORIES OF SOME SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE WHO RULED OVER THEIR FALIURES BY PRESSING ON

These stories below show how even horrible tragedies of life and setbacks can help fuel a drive for success. These stories also stress one of the most important lessons of life which is  “ Never ever give up”

BILL GATE
Today, he is named the richest man in the whole world but his first business
crumbled right in his presence; he did not make any money at all despite the fact
that he spent so much setting the business up .Gate’s first company TRAF-O-DATA,
(A device which could read traffic tapes and process the data) failed miserably.
When Gate and his partner, Paul Allen tried to sell TOD, the product did not work
but Gate and Allen did not allow that to stop them from trying again. A couple of
years later after so many attempts, TOD’s failure became the seminal that prepared
Gate and Allen to make Microsoft first product.

BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
This great man who has been listed among the American founding fathers dropped
out of school at the age of ten, his parents were only able to keep him in school
until his tenth birthday but that did not stop the great man from pursuing his education,
he took himself through serious reading and eventually went on to invent the lightning
 rod and Bifocals.

RICHARD BRANSON
Branson was a very bad student, he never had good grades in school but instead
of giving up, he used the strength within him to drive himself into success,
and Today Branson known for developing virgin records and many of its more
technologically advanced spinoffs is the fourth richest person in UK

STEPHEN KINGS
King’s first novel was rejected by publishing houses 30 times. King gave up and
threw the book in the trash. His wife Tabitha, retrieved the manuscript and urge
king to finish it. Now king’s books have sold over 350 million copies and have been
made into countless major motion pictures.

OPRAH WINFERY
This woman is one of the most successful and richest woman in the world today
but she did not have all so easily.  As a young girl she was repeatedly molested by
her cousin, uncle and a family friend. She eventually ran away from home and at 14
year she has a baby who died shortly after birth.
Winfery’s  tragic past did not stop her from becoming the force she is today, she
excelled as an honours student in high school and won a public speaking contest that
secured her a full scholarship to college. Now, the entrepreneur and personality has
the administration of millions and net worth of $2.9 billon.

THOMAS EDISON
Edison failed over 1,000 times before creating the lightbuld. Although the
exact time has been debated ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 attempts and in
responding to his repeated failure, he said “I have not failed, I have just found
10,000 ways that will not work”

This is to mention but a few. Are you about giving up or are you scared your
past failure(s) will not let you go? One thing that will make a difference in
your life is Jesus, if you will allow him; you will do greater exploits than any
man in history. But remember, if you are not prepared to be wrong, you will
never come up with anything original.
