Hi dear readers, this is a life experience and testimony of a friend that I took permission to share . When I told her that I wanted to do this she was glad and she sent it at rulesland@gmail.com just the way she wants it shared and that is the way you will read it now. Am sure you will be inspired and blessed.
THE TESTIMONY
My name is Bukola Ayoola, a lawyer practicing presently. My parents separated when I was about ten years old and I and my mum had to live with an aunty until my mum remarried and asked me to live with my aunty. As the only child, life was so boring for me but I had to live with it. My both parents started raising new families.Being a mother, my mum tried her best but my step father was not so nice. My father saw me as a mistake he wished he never made but I will always be grateful to him for seeing me through secondary school in Lagos, Nigeria. My dilemma started when I could not make my senior secondary school examination after four attempts. Mathematics and English Language won't let me go. My dad said he could no longer waste his money. He said I was a failure that he knew I was an unfortunate child and that nothing good will ever come out of me, to crown it all, he said he wished he never had me.The only thing I could think of at that moment was to kill myself but how could I make myself suffer for nothing so there and then I made up my mind to surprise my father but I did not even know how possible that will ever be. I was living with my mum's sister so I did not have to worry about food and shelter even though she was not so nice too. To the glory of God I got saved, I meet Jesus and that was my turning point. I meet wonderful people at the Redeemed Christian Church of God strong Tower Parish Okota Lagos. I was encouraged to try my SSCE again, I did and I made it this time. The day I got the result remains the happiest day of my life. My stay at the Lagos state University was not an easy one at all but thanks to my sweet mum but her effort was not enough I had to do all sort of things but one thing I never did was prostitution. To cut my long story short, God saw me through my university days, law school was great because at that time I had meet my sweet love who turned to be my husband today. I graduated with a second class lower at the university and a second class upper at the Law school, now married to a senior colleague with two kids and we run our own small law office together in Lagos. I owe to God everything I am now and will ever be most of it all I am so glad my dad is alive to see what my life has become.
If you have been blessed by this testimony, share it and send me yours too. God bless you.
